Soon to be Dandy owner was created by Dandydoerupper
As the title says I am soon to be the owner of my very own dandy. Its a 1960s model the same as the one in the picture. I know having stayed in it before needs a lot of TLC, including some welding on a corner of the frame. Besides that, and replacing some bolts and hinges, it should be structurally sound. The water pump for the sink needs replacing and I'd like to modernize the interior. New upholstery, replace any laminate chip board and maybe add more light. If anyone has any tips they'd be much appreciated, I consider myself a jack of all trades but this is probably my biggest single project to date.

So I've had the dandy about 2 weeks and the work is well underway. Still a bit of refurbishing to do inside and I want to hook up portable solar panels to charge the battery bank and I need to rewire the electrics inside to run to an inverter for AC power. Also want to set up 2 water tanks on the A frame and a tap for the sink connected to an electric water pump. Anyway I'll keep yas posted
