Sadly I have gone to the Dark Side (24 May 2017)

After years of running this site, I have now gone to The Dark Side. This web site will continue, but I really need someone new to take over.

× Come and say hello

This is just a wee communication to advise Dandy Land that I have just purchased one of your magnificent machines and it will be getting shipped North from Leyland to the Gateway to the Highlands early next week. I attend vintage shows up here and the Dandy will be an excellent 'day van' providing shelter and comfort in the changeable weather for which Scotland is famous, namely twenty five versions in one day.
I am looking forward to the arrival of this innovative device which I am confident will provide many hours of hilarity and mayhem. There are not many of these campers up here as far as I know, but doubtless now that I have joined the club so to speak they will start coming out of the woodwork.
Once again greetings to you all from a newcomer.

Big J.C.

We a regular visitors to Scotland. Love North of the Border. Quieter roads, loads of laybys on major A roads, lovely wee towns with friendly folk and usually free parlking, free loos. The wether may be changeable and at certain times of year you can experience 4 seasons in a single day. We have experienced the NC500 from Inverness to John O Groats. We have travelled from John O Groats to Durness, and sailed from Scrabster Stromness on a day trip and Gills Bay to St Margaret's Hope on a day trip. We have camped at Fort William and driven to Mallaig and also taken the train to Mallaig and taken the ferry to Skye. Wehabe camped on Mull and had a boat trip to Fingals Cave on Staffa. We have driven the Cairngorms in the summer and the winter months. We rent a cottage every Jan for a fortnight at Gardenstown north of Aberdeen. We also rent a Bothy just outside Kirremuir for a couple of weeks every Spring. But now we have Denzel our Dimension we will be looking for campsites all year round. Your country is lovely
