After years of running this site, I have now gone to The Dark Side. This web site will continue, but I really need someone new to take over.

Hi, We bought our first Dandy a few days ago and I haven't even seen it up yet! My other half went alone to bring it home as I was working and we haven't room to put it up here so I have to wait.... We do have Dandy experience though as my parents had a Dandy for a long time (I went with them to pick it up and had a tour round the factory), my brother has that now and uses it all the time. We were looking at selling our little caravan and buying a trailer tent but its not the same when you have had a Dandy, so we took the plunge and bought a Designer. It needs a bit of work but apparently not too much so we may be off out in it soon with a bit of luck :) P.S. anyone want to buy a caravan? lol

we did the same - sold our caravan now our daughters have left home and bought a 1968 Dandy 4 berth which sits nicely on the back of our 1962 Sunbeam Rapier. Used it a few times this month. It still taking us too long to set up but getting better.
