Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying a Dandy Destiny but unsure if my Ford Focus 1.6 petrol car will be ok to tow it . The cars log book says the mass towing weight with a braked trailer is 1200kg and the max weight of the Destiny is 745kg So going on figures alone it should be ok, but has anyone got any experience or advice on this car/ trailer combination.

You should be OK. But remember to account for things that you will be storing in the Dandy, it all soon mounts up and become additional weight.
We do have info and spec sheets in our download area.

No problem years ago with a 1.2 Skoda Estelle then a Favorit 1.3, then an Octavia 1.6 Hatch.

The maximum weight of any Dandy is 750 kg, the suspension is not rated above this. If you overload it by adding more, then you could be in trouble.
Yes, a 1.6 Focus is more than capable of towing any Dandy if it's max braked trailer ability is 1200 kg.

Brian.
