Does anyone have a solution to water ingress up and under the front of the trailer cover, whilst towing our Designer. Water soaks the kitchen area and the sofa mattress. Hoping for some kind of extension to the trailer cover. Many thanks.

Is the elasticated bungee cord tight? Maybe replace it?
Could you add any more you add some more cord buttons?
Is the transit cover the right size?

We have owned 4 Dandys and not had this problem,

Thank you for your reply. The bungee cord is new and very tight. There is not really enough room to add more cord buttons so I guess there are enough. The transit cover is the original one that came with the camper. We suspect that this has been a problem for the entire life of the camper as there were water mark signs of previous water ingress in the same place when we bought the camper. We had never used the camper in wet weather conditions before until last year when we went to France and it got soaked on the way there and again on the way home.. My husband has to replace some of the plywood this coming year to get rid of the damp smell and we would like to sort out the source of the problem. I wonder if we need to have a full cover made which wraps right under the front of the camper. We were hoping to find someone else who has solved this problem which we have been informed since that it is a known problem.

Do you have a photo of the dandy with the transit cover on by any chance?
There is a guy on Facebook called Undercover Mick who does make custom transit covers for Dandy's

If Pat see's this message he mabe able to help as he did a full Dandy restore and made his own transit cover,

I am assuming that you do not carry items on top of the folded down Dandy before putting the transit cover on.
If you do carry items in this way it does not allow the transit cover to fit as it should moving the cover higher up the front than intended.

We do carry a couple of flat pack chairs but we make sure this does not alter the height of the cover. I will try and get a picture of the camper in the next week or so as it is not kept at home. Many thanks for all your suggestions.
