Hi all,

We used our Dandy for the first time in December (i know, nutters) it worked well other than the RCD unit, the RCD is odd on these as it has both a ON, OFF, and TEST button as opposed to a simple test button and switch (which is what I'm used to seeing).
Our issue is that the unit does not trip but only works if you hold down the ON button, electric comes through both sockets but as soon as the button is released the power stops, it is almost as if it is not 'clicking on' so to speak.

It's not a huge deal though as we have a hookup to a 4 way extension anyway which when coupled with the standard M-F lead worked well enough for us but it would be great to actually have the sockets working.

Also as a second issue, can anyone advise how the second bed turns into a sofa? We took a look but could not figure it out, we have spare poles that look like feet for something but can't see how they connect to the bed poles.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the actual RCD needs to be replaced.
What type of Dandy is it?
To make up the bed to a settee just pull up the back mattress, that should lift up and you then connect the poles to support it.

Figured with the rcd. Any pictures of the sofa? It was up in the advert but when we used it we couldn't work out how the sofa is propped up, we lifted the mattress but could not work out how it attaches.
