Hi all,

I joined here at the end of the season last year as I was looking for a Dandy and was learning all I could about them. I've subsequently bought a 1997 dandy dart. Mostly in pretty good nick except for one little annoyance. The door seal had gone and was letting a small amount of water in onto the floor if the camper was driven in wet weather. I decided that this was definitely within the realms of my ability to sort, so went ahead and bought the camper, drove it home and its been in my garage part open drying out for 3 months now. I've got a good few days clear over the coming week so I thought I would start getting her ready for the new season and I would fix the door and harden the floor in the small area where it was damp as I am pretty sure that fibre board will be compromised a little if it has been wet. Anyhoo I am sure I saw a post on the old forum about coating the floor with an epoxy treatment, but can I find it, can I heck. Could one of you lovely people either tell me what kind of epoxy it is that I need to buy, or point me in the direction of the post please.

Many thanks in advance
Tara

Thanks Dave, that isnt really what I had imagined at all considering the patch is less than 4" by 4" id tnought it would be a brush on wood hardner type thing. Also I am struggling with the instruction to drill through to the last lamination, compressed chip is just that lots of compressed chips, there aren't really layers. Or am I missing something? Sorry to sound dim, I just want to make sure I understand it correctly before I wade on in.
Many Thanks
