Has anyone any info on a material awning for a Designer, I am getting in years and the PVC awning is too heavy for us to manage.
I wonder if any one has tried a drive away tent in place of an awning. Any help or advice will be much appreciated.

I use a Vango Sapera airbeam driveaway awning. It fits very well and is easy to erect.
I had a Sunncamp driveaway awning before that.
They both tuck under the roof of the Dandy and the bottom clamps onto the outrigger legs.
I had to make panels to fill the gap under the bed boards from an old groundsheet.

Most drive aways will fit, one way or another.
Just make sure that you measure the door width and the door height to make sure that you have clearance.
