Sadly I have gone to the Dark Side (24 May 2017)

After years of running this site, I have now gone to The Dark Side. This web site will continue, but I really need someone new to take over.

Since selling my Discovery 18 months ago ive missed the Dandy, I have my 80s Combi Camp that i have restored and it is brilliant and easy to setup, but nowhere near as solid as the Dandy.
I managed to pick up this Dandy for a reasonble price, but it needs a fair bit of work doing but will try to keep it looking original :)

First job strip paint off bed supports

Paint with primer

The front box fell apart so used old one as pattern

Think this is an original dandy table, i was going to use it to replace the bottom of the door
but there might not be many of these tables about.
Does anyone know what the other piece is in the picture it hinges in the middle. Pete :)

Looks better already, you might want to keep a pattern of the box just in case anyone is wanting to make one for theirs, as for the table I would definitely keep it, is the other part of the table a shelf? have you tried fixing it on?
