So more work completed welding and grinding take more time then I thought. Measuring and checking before every weld.
Tomorrow I am going to set up the Dandy and test the legs before painting them- as they will need to come off to fit the new side. Manage to find a plastic manufacture that makes HDPE 2mm sheets .

Made a start on the mounting brackets for gas struts
TomT has made some and we have been in email contact since this post about making the bed strut brackets.
Once all done if Tom and myself make up a build guide Neil might create a info sheet.

That would be very useful, I want to add gas struts too. I have got a supply of heavy alloy square tube (35mm) which I hope will be better than steel.

Made the lower side support rail that will hopefully help shape the cover and create storage in transport for awning poles.

not level the weight is forcing the legs down out of square so I am going weld 28 mm back onto each leg to sort the problem.

managed to do more work on the fridge slide and started on the oven side but run out of day light plus needed to stop making noise with the grinder
more tomorrow if the weather holds up

28mm added to each leg
The connecting collar is now welded on the leg to locate it on the mounting points. These will be screw to the frame work along the edges.

The new hob/grill and sink unit is coming together, The plan is to make it free standing for in the awning or outside.

Will clad the grill area with steel sheet material , the door with be hinges to close the grill when not in use.
Underneath the sink I am planning on making a draw for storage that is locked during transport . The whole unit will stare on the back overhang next to the fridge and oven slides.
