Sadly I have gone to the Dark Side (24 May 2017)

After years of running this site, I have now gone to The Dark Side. This web site will continue, but I really need someone new to take over.

Good for you.
Having owned one since 2006, with the "en-suite" as I call it, it is the epitemie of Dandy range.
It is well balanced and tows a dream if loaded correctly,ie the awning on the floor between the wheel arches.
Tyre pressures at 45 psi to allow for maximum loading giving a total of 960 km in my case.
Any questions by all means pm me.

Thanks jgcr
The one we are getting does not have a awning (we would not use it) but I will fit an awning rail again for the lightweight porch awning, and use our Drive away for longer breaks.
Looks like a few catches need to be replaced, but hope to get it over to Ian at Riva and get the running gear serviced.

A question? I believe that these last models are not 12 volt as such, ie no leisure battery?
But as the lights and water pump are 12v they are running from a transformer?
Thanks for the help as we continue our Dandy journey

Yes the lights and the pump runs off a transformer so that means you got to be on ehu all the time. The way round it is to fit a leisure battery in the front gas locker and buy a cable that ians sells at riva so u plug the grey cable on the drawbar to it,that connect the leisure battery up to work ur lights and pump off the battery also it will charge it up.A 110 amp leisure battery will cost about £75 from alpha batteries in Rochdale if u need one picked up let me know
