After another lovely year of camping our Dandy is up in the garden having more mods before being tucked up for the Winter. So far we have insulated the bed bases, bed walls, and inside the seat locker. Just the main floor area beneath the lino to do now.
Also made head & foot boards for both beds, which just need varnishing, and I've used wood print fablon to cover scuffs and water marks on the wood panels near the floor. The head boards are not fastened, but are held nicely in place by teh mattresses. :)

I would be interested to know more about the insulation, what did you use etc.

We used a mix of materials - the back of the bed walls were done in left over insulated base material (the gold stuff!) that we'd used under our laminate flooring in the house. Underneath the mattresses & inside the seat locker was done with the silver insulation roll you can buy at DIY stores. It looks like silver bubble wrap. Hubby has just used more leftover underflooring roll to do the main floor area under the lino. :)
