Not towing level. was created by DEREK
Towing Designer on a swan neck tow ball. Dandy is front high. Not able to fit drop plate.
Anyone know if it possible to insert a packer between Aframe and tow ball mounting to effectively raise the ball attachment height.
Would this effect braking mechanism? Although seems flexible.
Any comments welcome.

I would say that maybe possible, but a quick Q is there any reason why you have a Swan Neck on the car?

Probably a modern car with parking sensors - swan neck ball is removable when not towing.
You cant really pack out the tow hitch as the braking piston will not run straight, however you can have packing blocks fitted where the indespension units bolt to the chassis.
I'm in the process of making some now as well as converting to 12" rims - this will raise the towing height by 3"

I posted a possible fix for the problem on the old forum in May 8, 2010.

Hope this might give you some ideas.
