Dandy folding camper.

As per the title, if you look at the pictures it just does not add up.
There is a fridge and 4 burner hob also a gas strut visible.
Is this a new version or perhaps just wishful thinking.
The description mentions only a 2 ring stove.
False advertising.

I went to look at it yesterday, it was set up on the owners drive, but they chose not to be there even though we had arranged a time. Ignore all the pictures except the ones of the camper on the drive, the one of the interior actually comes from the dandy owners forum and is of the interior of a rare white one that was stolen. The son is selling for father and I think he just ripped some images off the web. I forgot to take a tape measure to measure the trailer, and the door was locked and curtains drawn so I can't tell you if it was a discovery as I could only peer through a chink but the upholstery looked sound but very dated, but the trailer felt a bit small for a discovery, I thought it was a Dart What I can tell you is it needed 3 new tyres, gas cylinder box was rotted away and the suspension was seriously down on one side with less than 10mm clearance between the tyre and the wheel arch, I don't think it was particularly loaded inside and the drive appeared level. The other thing which might help with identification is that the brown body had weird pop stud like diagonal flaps running from the corner of the roof on either side down towards the door. I've not seen that in my researches so far so perhaps someone can come along and help. I think it might make a great little project for someone but when I added up all the things I would need to do and pay for over the winter I decided to give it a miss, my primary concern is to have a functioning camper straight away, and I'm neither competent or confident enough to say hand on my heart that this camper was it.

There is a picture at the bottom of this thread on the old forum showing the same pop stud set up, but this is a brown and white with the newer beige trailer. If that helps anybody date it. I couldn't see the plate as it was obscured by the gas cylinder box

Either way it isn't what the ad makes out, but then at that price I wasn't expecting it to be, the universe isn't that kind to me haha!

Mid to late 80 is my guess.
Due to the Owners not being available when viewing and considering the report of the condition, I would walk away as it is going to cost more to refurbish than any chance of profit when done.
The Indespension units alone + tyres = the asking price.

Walk away.

Yes JGCR we came to the same conclusion, and thats without considering any other odds and sods like reupholstering etc. But like I said if somebody was into stripping their campers down and restoring and money wasn't the primary deciding factor then it did have some good things going for it, the PVC part was in excellent condition and apparently it did have the full awning.
